FT² = BT²+FB² = 3² + (4 - x)² = 9 + 16 - 8 x + x² = x² - 8 x + 25

on écrit  SF² = FT²  ⇔ 4 + x² = x² - 8 x + 25  ⇔ 8 x = 21  ⇔ x = 21/8 = 2.625 cm
