Dear Dad,
I had a very strange week end. On Saturday, Chad invited me to a picnic party with
his family. We went to Canterbury. His family is a bit strange! His mother ate carrots
and drank tomato juice! I didn't eat carrots!! I had crisps . Chad's uncle, Paul, said
there was some treasure in the cathedral. The treasure of the Black Prince. He wanted
to find it. So, Paul, Chad and Tom went to explore the cathedral. They didn't find any
treasure, but they saw the Black Prince's tomb and the place where Thomas Beckett
was executed. They decided to go down into the crypt, but Paul fell down the stairs
and he broke hisleg! We called an ambulance. The ambulance took Paul to the
hospital! It was a crazy day with a crazy family but we had fun! It was a great day!
